Legends & Logging Days

Dear Community Member,

In a little over a month Park Rapids will be hosting Legends & Logging Days once again. Every year the event has grown and brought hundreds of visitors to our community. In order for the Park Rapids Chamber Event Committee to make this event a success we need community involvement. We need volunteers to help with set up and tear down,  time the logging events, help serve food, help at our information area and more. If you have 2 hours or 8 hours and would be willing to help us make Park Rapids Signature Event the best ever this year, please contact the Park Rapids Chamber at 218-732-4111. Please pass the word to your coworkers, employees, congregation members, classmates, friends and family! We can't do this without YOU!

Legends & Logging Days is Friday and Saturday, August 12 & 13th. It's at an exciting new venue this year, the Park Rapids Antique Tractor Club grounds, affectionately known as The East 40.

4th of July

The 4th of July celebration is just around the corner. The parade starts at 5 p.m,  on Main, followed by the Community Band in Red Bridge Park and the Spectacular 4th of July fireworks, at dusk, in Heartland Park!

Join us for the weekend and be prepared to have lots of fun!

Calling All Artists!

If you are an artist or craftsman/woman and have something that you could demonstrate and sell,  we would love for you to be a part of our Legends and Logging Days on Friday & Saturday, August 12 & 13 at the Park Rapids Antique Tractor Club Grounds. Summer Is Finally Here!

Some of us weren't sure when summer would arrive, but it seems our patience has paid off! We will have some sunny 70+ temps this weekend and it's the perfect time to plan a getaway Up North! There is so much to do here. Take your kids fishing, hike in Itasca State Park, bike the Heartland Trail or sit under a big ol shade tree and read a great book! The possibilities are endless and limited only by your imagination.
